Black-glazed multi-nozzle lamp found during one of the Acropolis excavation campaigns.

The body has a curved profile and the rim slants inwards. Its central hollow tube either facilitated the lamp’s suspension or was intended to be set on a pointed lamp-stand. It has twelve short nozzles around the body with wide wick-holes. The lamp surface is covered in fine paint the colour of which varies from black to brown whereas the disk-shaped base bears reddish slip. The rim as well as the stem’s top surface are decorated with a clay colour band.
